Stuart is riding from Cape Reinga to Bluff on a mountain bike, your support will help him to raise funds for the Arohanui Hospice.

Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui

Stuart McKinnon is biking the length of New Zealand, from Cape Reinga to Bluff as part of the Tour Aotearoa Brevet. This is a 3000km journey on and off-road and needs to be completed in 30 days or less.

After relatively recently losing both my Father and Father in law to cancer, and having recovered from a major mountain biking accident two years ago, I decided to quit my job to participate in this bucket list event.

I am fundraising for Arohanui Hospice, an organisation that was so supportive during the death of our fathers, and more recently my friend's mother. The Hospice is reliant on fundraising to deliver its amazing and essential services.

Having parents dying at a relatively young age with dreams unfulfilled, has motivated me to live in the moment. Hence I'm doing the big ride, the likes of which I have never done before.

It is my hope that you will support the Arohanui Hospice by donating, which in turn will give me the motivation I need to complete the ride.
