Pedalling with purpose: Westpac Takutai Legal team takes on a 12‑hour bike challenge for the Auckland Rescue Chopper.

Auckland

The Legal team at Westpac on Takutai will be riding exercycles in Takutai Square for 12 hours to raise funds for the Auckland Rescue Chopper from 6:00am-6:00pm on Monday 4 May 2025.

We will keep the wheels spinning on our bikes to help keep the Chopper in the air and supporting our friends, whānau and community.

Thanks to Les Mills Britomart for providing us with the exercycles for the ride - come down and visit us on the day to pick up a free Les Mills pass!

Their service is believed to be the first civilian aeromedical service in the world.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
