I will be cycling the Tour of Aotearoa, a 3000 km ride the whole length of New Zealand, and fundraising for the Wellington Free Ambulance. I will be one of 300 cyclists who will start in three waves on the 21st, 23rd and 24th of February 2016. I will need to cycle the pre-determined route from Cape Reinga to Bluff within 30 days. I will start cycling at 12 noon, Sunday 21 February 2016.
If you would like to sponsor me, you can donate 1 cent per 1 KM of my bike ride. That will only be $30 for the length of New Zealand! Otherwise, any amount will be appreciated. All proceeds will go to Wellington Free Ambulance.
Here are five reasons why I will be fundraising for them:
-Wellington Free Ambulance is the one and only paramedic service in Greater Wellington and Wairarapa.
-They are the only ones in the country who are free!
-They provide 24-hour assistance for people in high
risk and vulnerable situations in our community.
-They help anyone, anytime, anywhere
- A donation as little as $25 can purchase everyday essentials to equip paramedics such as collars to protect patient's spines
