My name is Trina Batchelor, and I am a wheelchair athlete.I am going to be competing in the Cigna Around the Bays event in Wellington 2016.

I was born with Spina Bifida, which basically means my spine didn't form properly,resulting in a degree of paralysis and limited mobility. I joined the gym just over a year ago and have had nothing but support and positivity from my trainers, Ryan Mc Carthy and Susan de Alwis, leading me to achieve more than I than I could possibly have imagined.I formed this page to support Achilles New Zealand as they are a wonderful organization who support people with disabilities who want to achieve in mainstream events.

Achilles New Zealand are honoured to again be the Official Charity Partner of the prestigious Cigna Round the Bays Wellington event.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform.
