Tuhaitara Charity Run -Giving Children with disabilities a voice Sunday 3rd November 2013 Raising funds to help give children with disabilities a voice, the Tuhaitara Charity Run is a 10km track by Woodend Beach (approx. 15 mins north of Christchurch). It is a unique and interesting track through the wetlands and forestry finishing with a loop on the beach. Expect to encounter both mud and soft sand. The race is open to all standards from serious racers to people whose aim is to complete the course walking or running. We are also proud to offer a 3km track which is wheelchair friendly. The event is proudly organised by parents from the Champion Centre and Craig Moore from Tri Planet www.tri-planet.co.nz. For inquiries please contact Anette de Joux on: damgaard_andersen@hotmail.com All proceeds go to the Champion Centre an early intervention programme that serves infants and young children with complex challenges such as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism and Global developmental delay.
