I’m Annie, and together with my best mate Jack, my six-year-old Border Collie, we’re hitting the road on one very big adventure — putting in the kilometres from Bluff to Picton, travelling the South Island and raising awareness and funds for Pet Refuge NZ.
Jack will be travelling alongside me in his cart and on the bike as we make our way through some of Aotearoa’s most incredible roads and landscapes, joined by a bunch of fellow animal lovers, campervanners and adventure seekers.
But this isn’t just about the ride.
It’s about shining a light on the incredible work Pet Refuge NZ does to help people and their pets escape situations of family violence and keep their beloved animals safe.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference. ❤️

Meet at 9:00 am, Edgar Centre Car Park, Midland St Exit. Depart 9:15 am. Bring your high-vis vests!
We’ll ride the beautiful cycle track from the Edgar Centre to Dog Friendly Glenfalloch Gardens — invite your mates and grab yourself a locally roasted coffee or some brunch!
If cycling isn’t your thing, meet us at Glenfalloch Gardens and join the fun!
There'll be a lolly scramble and an egg & spoon race.
Let’s get moving, have some fun and shine a light on
Pet Refuge NZ.
