Fundraising for The Kids In Need Waikato Charitable Trust
Waikato
This September, we're challenging ourselves to complete a combined 500km at the Blue Lakes 24 Hour Challenge.
Made up of runners and walkers, our Brian Perry Civil (BPC) team will work together to reach the 500km target while raising funds for Kids in Need (KIN).
The challenge is simple: convert 500 team kilometres into hundreds of essentials for children entering care.
Because every child deserves a fresh start.
Help us turn 500km into 500 fresh starts.
Why Kids in Need Waikato (KIN)?
KIN was founded by local foster parents Graeme and Linda Roil, who saw firsthand the challenges faced by children entering care and the families supporting them.
What started as community donations and care packs for children entering foster care, and grandparents raising grandchildren, has grown into an organisation making a real difference for vulnerable children across our region.
Around six months ago, Brian Perry Civil (BPC) started exploring ways we could support KIN. What began as a few practical projects around their facility quickly became something much more meaningful.
There's a genuine sense of pride and satisfaction that comes from using our skills, time, and energy to help make a difference in our community.
This challenge isn't just about running or walking kilometres. It's about backing a cause we believe in, strengthening connections within our team, and helping create better outcomes for children who need support the most.
