Urban Walkies is participating in the Dirty Dog Challenge 2021 to raise awareness and funds to help Chained Dog Rehabilitation and Rehoming
Auckland
On the 26th of June, the team at Urban Walkies will be participating in the Dirty Dog challenge in Waikato, a unique event held annually by Hamilton City Council. Our team (and that includes some of our very own UW pooches) will be navigating through a mud-filled obstacle course, completing all kinds of different challenges, running on difficult terrain and of course... getting covered in mud!
We are undertaking this challenge to raise money for a local Auckland rescue called Chained Dog Rehabilitation & Rehoming. Chained Dog is a registered charity (CC54833) that work with owners of life chained dogs to help improve their lives, and provide the tools so they can become responsible dog owners. They also actively rehabilitate and rehome many dogs relinquished into their care while working closely with many Council Shelters across NZ.
All proceeds raised will go to Chained Dog and donations over $5 are tax deductible. Will surely be a worthy event to get down and dirty!
