Im walking 67km of Lake Taupo to raise money for Project Jonah, dedicated to rescue and protection of marine mammals around New Zealand

Waikato

I will be walking the length of Lake Taupo, 67km on 20th February 2016. I am doing this in aid of Project Jonah a New Zealand Charity dedicated to rescue and protections of Marine Mammals. This date happens to be very close to the year anniversary of the 2015 stranding's where 198 Pilot Whales stranded at Farewell Spit, the largest stranding in New Zealand in over 15years.

Angie Gow's involvement (page creator)

I recently participated in a Project Jonah Marine Mammal Medic course which provided me with the basic skills needed to help care for and rescue stranded dolphins and whales. After seeing the amazing work that Project Jonah does in both rescue and protection I have decided to do as much as I can to support this charity and raise as much funds to allow them to continue this great work.
