Walking 3000km - Raising $20k for Multiple Sclerosis Research ( NZMSRT )
Waikato
Multiple Sclerosis affects approximately 23,000 Australians and 4,000 New Zealanders. MS impacts the lives of these everyday people, their families and friends.
We do not yet understand why some people are susceptible to MS and why others are not. Lets change that.
It is as simple as the title;
In June 2013, I made the decision to combine a couple of tasks on my To Do List;
a) take a big walk
b) raise money for a charity that I believe could create change for the people it wishes to support
c) honour those who have walked a harder path than I have had to travel on my very blessed life.
On 1st September 2016, I will start my walk from New Zealand's Cape Reinga to The Bluff, a 3054km journey on Te Araroa - for the most part I will travel alone, but will have a friends join me on the way
