We want to help with the Australian Bushfires

Auckland

-------

DNB Talk ( page creator) and the Drum & Bass community as a whole wants to give back to this important cause.

I've set this up page on behalf of DNB Talk community group on Facebook. Funds raised are going to providing care and medical treatment to injured wildlife across Australia caused by the horrific fires they’ve experienced over the past few months.

Funds raised will go to WWF who’ve partnered with wildlife rescue and care organisations in bushfire zones and is directing funds to respond to the emergency at scale.

Tragically, it has been estimated that over 1.25 billion animals have been killed across Australia in the horrific bushfires. This includes thousands of koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and other iconic species being burnt alive. Many thousands more are injured and homeless.

This includes:

Urgent care: supporting specialised veterinarians who are providing care and medical treatment to injured wildlife across Australia.

Food and water: providing starving wildlife with food and water in bushfire impacted regions.

Finding koalas: deploying koala detection dogs to bushfire sites to search for surviving koalas.

Supplies and triage: getting veterinary supplies to bushfire triage sites.

Any amount you give whether it's $1, $5, $10 or $50-$100 is all valued and will make a difference.

Big up's the DNB community for chipping in on this one!
