  • Everest challengers put in fine effort

      2 March 2020

Our Everest Challenge fundraiser is looking great with $600 donated to date and we’re only 14 days through the 50 days.

After last weekend’s attempts, the Building Team has nailed an impressive 32 ascents – the Utilities Team has just six to go and the Breathless Babes have panted their way up Mauao 16 times.

Gary Allis continues to impress with 13 climbs, Rachael and Andries 10, Greer nine and Miriam has contributed a climb for the HeelBillies.

Still doing their warm-up stretches are Jan and Kumaren … Don’t forget this Wednesday night – meet at 5.30pm at the Mount Surf Club for a group walk and photos at top. Your tour operator and guide will be David Pearce – be there or be square!

With 14 of the 50 days done and dusted, thanks go to all those who have made donations to the TECT Rescue Helicopter – individual donations range from $20 to $200 - $150 was donated in one day!

  • Getting ready to start our challenge

      13 February 2020

With just four days to go until the More FM Mount Everest Challenge 2020 we have 28 people and three teams registered.

Things officially kick off at 10am this Sunday and at least one of our teams is getting involved with some team building to tick the first summit off together. Several staff will also be making a start on their 38 climbs on Sunday.

Keep up-to-date as with team photos and the progress chart (attached).

Here is a couple of team photos that you may enjoy.

Remember we are climbing Mauao in support of our local TECT Rescue Helicopter service so all donations are much appreciated and welcome.

    Enjoy our Givealittle page.
