Westpac Chopper Appeal Waiheke-Auckland Swim and Otago/Southland Bike Ride 2023

On 4 March I’m swimming in a group relay from Waiheke to Auckland and then from 10-13 May riding 750km across Otago and Southland raising much needed funding for the Westpac Rescue Chopper Appeal.
We all know someone who has been rescued by a Westpac rescue helicopter and Cyclone Gabrielle has been a terrible reminder of how critical this capability is, particularly to many of our most remote regional communities.

Final day 4: Invercargill to Balcutha 14 May 2023
Beautiful weather for our final day. Late decision to change the course to include the Caitlins on the way to a finish in Balcutha.
Again thank you so much for your support. Hearing stories along our ride from so many people in remote regional communities who have been helped by the chopper has reinforced why this is such and important cause.
