Westpac Taranaki Team Round The Mountain Virtual Challenge Chopper Appeal 2020

The staff of Westpac Taranaki are taking part in the Westpac Taranaki Round the Mountain Virtual Challenge Chopper Appeal . We need your donations to support Taranaki Rescue Helicopter

Funds raised from this event will be donated to the Taranaki Rescue Helicopter. The team at TRH operate 24/7 , the choppers are armed with life saving equipment , rescue personnel and trauma trained medics , the team complete Medical Transfers , Rescues , Marine Call outs and are a life support for the Rural community , they need our help more than ever and we at Westpac Taranaki are here to support the Taranaki choppers .

Due to Covid-19 The Westpac Chopper Appeal is going digital and shifting fundraising to online but the challenge is not virtual its physical .

Each Westpac relay team or solo staff member will complete 190 Kms around the mountain either walking , running or cycling. The relay comprises of teams of up to 6 members completing the 190kms. There are 6 legs between 21km and 43km. Teams can only participate together from the same bubble . Starting in New Plymouth on Friday the 8th of May and ending back in New Plymouth on Sunday the 31st of May . Teams members will track their Kms daily, as a team we hope to walk , run or cycle 2000kms together and raise $4000 through donations .
