What am I thinking ...

Challenging myself - it's certainly not easy walking up that hill!! Hopefully it will become easier after 38 times. Support the cause.

Bay of Plenty

I had a wake up call last year when my strava app told me I had exercised only 50 odd times last year!! That's not good. Easy to blame a busy life etc and use work as an excuse, I'd always wanted to do this challenge but didn't think I could commit. I'm giving it a go, I travel quite a lot for my job but that's no excuse, if I can find a hill I will be climbing up it as the elevation all still counts for this challenge. When I also heard that this years benefactor is St Johns, that really made the decision easy. You just don't know when or where you might need those great people.

Come on NZ, let's do this and put our hands just slightly in our pockets for a great cause.

I reckon $2 a climb is a good start. Happy to donate to St Johns.
