When I needed help they were there.

Back in 2012 you may remember I joined a group of friends walking the 3 day Tora walk in the Wairarapa. A rather eventful first day when I managed to dislocate and fracture my ankle - a member of our group managed to contact the Westpac Rescue Helicopter so you can imagine our relief when we heard it coming over the hills. The pilot and medic were absolutely wonderful, so calm, professional, and morphine in hand - we flew back to Wellington and landed on the roof of the hospital.

Since this episode (described by some of my workmates as making an exhibition of myself!) , I have supported The Life Flight Trust and am a 'Red Angel'.

Today I would normally be standing outside the local cinema or at the airport rattling my collection tin. Instead this is a way you can support the Trust too, you never know when you may need their help!
