Will CHOP my 10 year MOP for Women's Refuge

I am 16 years old and haven't cut my hair since I was six.

Although this is a big decision for me, I have decided to CHOP the MOP and donate the proceedings to Women's Refuge.

The way it works is:

1) My high school will hold a "Chop The Mop" charity event at school.

2) The hair is donated to Freedom Hair, who create wigs for those with long term hair loss.

3) The money collected from this process is donated directly to Women's Refuge.

I will have at least 35 cm of braided hair chopped off during this event, that is in fact the equivalent of two rulers of un-braided hair! That is a lot of hair.
