Fundaraiser for my charity bout.

Auckland

Hey team

I've gone and done it and entered myself in a charity boxing fight that will be taking place @ ABA Stadium (date to be confirmed).

The aim of the game is to train hard for the next few months and and raise some good coin along the way for my charity which is Wood For the Trees supporting people with mental illness.

Mental illness is something that affects many kiwis. In New Zealand up to 50% of adults have suffered from a mental illness in their lives. That could be a colleague, friend or family member. Unfortunately the number of suicides in New Zealand is continuing to rise with 606 last year.

Wood For The Trees is a registered charity on a mission to help kiwis affected by mental illness. To do this they'll be providing funding to community organisations, creating awareness and open dialogue about mental illness, and to remove the stigma associated with it. Annually, Wood For The Trees will be running various activities such as boxing events, fishing competitions and the raffle of up to 6 brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycles. For more info, please visit www.woodforthetrees.nz

If any of you are keen to donate to a good cause and help out your donations would be much appreciated and will go a long way!

Thanks in advance!
