Will you help us ‘take the leap’?
Marlborough
The Smart Alliances team are taking part in the Graeme Dingle Foundation’s “Drop for Youth Marlborough” fundraiser, where we aim to raise enough money to send as many of our team members flying out of a plane (Sky Diving 9,000ft) as we can to raise money for the cause!!
"Drop for Youth Marlborough” is an event run by the Greame Dingle Foundation who Smart Alliances have teamed up with to support their programmes around helping youth have access to better education, enhanced employment prospects, greater self-esteem and encourage young people to be healthy and motivated!
Kiwi Can is a values and life-skills programme for primary students. It teaches important concepts such as respect, resilience and integrity in weekly lessons throughout the year. These core values make a real difference in children's lives and for the future of our community!
All money we raise will go towards delivering Kiwi Can to Marlborough children.
THE CREW KEEN TO JUMP:
The Gals: We have the lovely ladies from Reception - Laura and Jessie, The gals are all keen to jump out of a perfectly good plane for this cause! They see this opportunity as a great chance to show young people to get outside your comfort zone, push your limits and overcome your fears.
Please click donate to help them reach their goal and help support the work of Graeme Dingle Foundation in Marlborough!!
Heydn: The only lad from the team to get involved! Heydn has set himself a personal challenge as well where he wants to give up the sweet stuff and lose a few kg's to get to the required weight limit! He needs your support to do so! His goal is to lose 10-15kg's, then maintain it to lead a happier and healthier lifestyle for him and his family.
Help Heydn reach his goal by clicking donate and supporting his personal challenge as well as the Graeme Dingle Foundation!
We believe empowering the youth of today is the way to a better future, and we want to do our bit to help. Which is why we have set ourselves a high target to raise for the cause!!
TEAM UPDATE: 6 January 2020
Thank you all for your kind donations! We are very overwhelmed and thankful for all of the support!
Sadly we have had a valued staff member, Jungah, leave Smart Alliances to go on a new city adventure! We wish her all the best on her new adventure!
Due to the move, Jungah sadly can no longer attend the jump! BUT we are hoping to fill her spot with another team member so we can continue to get the donations up for this cause!!
Watch this space!
Thanks again for your support!
We're daring people to get outside of their comfort zone, just like our young people do through our programmes.
