We are excited to announce our biennial Spellathon event, where we encourage our wonderful tamariki to engage their brains for the benefit of our one and only school fundraiser.
Each child will have a list of words suitable for their level, which they will have approximately five weeks to learn to spell correctly. Our children are encouraged to gather sponsors who pledge to donate money based on the number of words they spell correctly. Our spellathon testing day is scheduled for 8 September .
The funds raised from our Spellathon will support our school’s commitment to allow children to participate in after-school sports for free. We choose to do this so every child has the opportunity to play no matter the financial circumstances of their whānau.
