Providing comfort packs to kids in traumatic situations

4thekidz Tedz Project with the help of wonderful volunteers and local communities we bring a small amount of comfort and security for kids in Traumatic Situations from natural disasters, tragic loss to special investigations.

Meeting the needs of victims is at the centre of everything New Zealand Police does. When a child is a victim of abuse, Police do all they can to assist these children through a very difficult time. 4thekidz show these children that their community cares by providing packs of comfort.

Our care packs include:

Soft Toy

Blanket

(New or crafted)

Depending on the age of the child it may also include:

Torch

Colouring book and crayons

Notebook/diary and pens

We rely on Givealittle and the generosity of local communities for the items we need for our packs, which consist of: A soft toy, blanket, torch, colouring book/pens or a journal/pen dependent of the age.

We also are working towards our new parenting program from our Taranaki offices so we are proud to announce that 4thekidz now has a new family room! Where kids and parents can meet for supervised visits, support and a space to bond and get help for family issues. So please help us make it fun, educational and most of all comfortable!
