Helping children build lifelong mental wellbeing skills through education.
Nationwide
Half of all mental health challenges begin before the age of 14.
1 in 4 young people will experience a mental health issue before the age of 18.
That’s why we need to start early — with preventative education and lifelong skills for positive mental wellbeing.
When tamariki learn how to understand their thoughts and manage their big feelings from a young age, the impact can last a lifetime.
Think and Be Me provides Tamariki Mental Wellbeing Education to primary schools across Aotearoa.
CURRENT FOCUS: Hawke’s Bay School Tour and Tractor Trek 2026 🚜
Right now, our focus is rural Hawke’s Bay.
23 February - 6 March Think and Be Me is delivering a 10-day Tractor Trek across 19 Hawkes Bay schools, reaching 3,500 tamariki — bringing our anxiety-focused show directly to tamariki in their own communities.
Tractors will travel from school to school as we help children learn how to understand anxiety, skills to calm their emotions, and build positive thinking.
This trek also honours the strength and resilience of rural communities following Cyclone Gabrielle, continuing our commitment to equipping tamariki with skills for lifelong mental wellbeing.
Funds raised during this campaign directly help us reach more Hawkes Bay Schools, including providing shows, teacher training and education resources.
Think Better. Feel Better. Do Better.
