A Star is Born NZ - Help us support those who face the tragic loss of their baby

Dunedin, Otago

A Star is Born is a charitable trust established in 2016 by bereaved parents, with an aim to provide bereaved families with keepsakes following the loss of their precious baby/babies.

Our keepsake packages include castings, photography sessions, and personalised necklaces, and roughly cost ~$300-400 per baby. Please see our website and/or Facebook page for more information!

We are raising funds to keep providing this service across Dunedin. We rely solely on donations, fundraising and grants to continue providing these keepsakes. Your support is greatly appreciated - thank you.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
