Actors Benevolent Fund

The New Zealand Actors Benevolent Fund is a not-for profit charity established in 2013 to provide assistance to professional performers, both young and old, who, due to injury, illness or disability are unable to work, either temporarily or in some cases for the rest of their lives. Benevolent Funds are a long standing tradition in the Industry in many countries as the irregular nature of acting work means financial security can be a real challenge for those working in it. The Fund is currently in a growth phase- working to raise capital so that grants can be given out sustainably. Thanks for your support!
