Building resources and tools within Hawke's Bay for our community that is less able
Hawke's Bay
Adaptive Whakauru Tahi was created when Leana realised the need and lack of services out there that provides quality adaptive fitness sessions for all people with disabilities both visible and invisible.
Having been a gym owner, and loving training people who had specific needs, the opportunity to create AWT as a passion project came about and here we are today thriving in our Hawke's Bay Community servicing many people with disabilities on a weekly basis.
We do 1:1 training where classes are not suitable, home-based training, small group disability specific group training and of course our community classes.
We break barriers by eliminating cost to the participant as much as possible. Because of this we rely on funding to enable our success any donation made goes directly back into our Adaptive classes.
