Adoptable

Adoptable is a cat rescue based in Hamilton which facilitates the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of abused, abandoned, unwanted and stray cats in our community.

Based in Glenview, we don’t operate from a traditional shelter environment. Instead, all of the cats who are ready for adoption, and many that aren’t yet ready, live in our home with us. This means that we know each cat’s individual personality, all of their little quirks and we know that they’re well socialised, well trained and used to living in a busy household.

Our cats are treated exclusively by the team at Vetora Glenview. Without their support and dedication we couldn’t do what we do. Prior to adoption all of our cats have a standard health check and treatment for any medical issues, they’re desexed and they have at least their first vaccination. Their health is also covered by Pet-n-Sur for 30 days after adoption.

Adoptable is a registered charitable trust (SDB Charitable Trust #CC52252) and we make no profit at all. We rely entirely on adoption fees, the wallets of the trustees and the generosity of the general public to meet all of our costs so that we can continue saving lives.
