The Ashburton Community Alcohol and Drug Service was established in 1988 by a group of community members concerned about the lack of alcohol and other drug services in our district.
ACADS is about supporting people with alcohol and drug related issues. Empowering people to make informed choices about their own well being. Providing knowledge about the risks of alcohol and drugs. Building partnerships based on mutual respect, team work and communication.
Our vision is to prevent and reduce the harm to individuals, families and communities associated with alcohol and other drug use.
