    Did you know that Auckland Zoo is a charity? It is! As a part of the registered charitable trust, Regional Facilities Auckland (Charities Registration CC45674), Auckland Zoo also has charitable status. That means you can donate directly to Auckland Zoo and receive a donation receipt to claim your tax credit. Auckland Zoo will use your donation to help support the animals in its care and to expand its work in conservation projects in New Zealand and around the world. As part of the World Association of Zoo's and Aquariums, Auckland Zoo practices the highest standards of care and is committed to working to save many species from extinction.
