Awhi Charitable Trust is a new charity that has been started in Hawke’s Bay.

The aim of Awhi is to provide rangatahi with support and advocacy as they navigate their journey through education, training, and employment. We aim to offer this support to our most vulnerable youth who are often falling through the gaps of other services due to not fitting criteria, or are aging out of their current provider. Awhi will remove barriers, offer support and advocacy, and work alongside our rangatahi to help them set goals and transition into their next pathway, this could be into further education, training or intern/mentorship with the end goal of employment.

Awhi will provide Rangatahi with support and advocacy as they navigate their journey through education, training, and employment. We will provide a wrap around flexible service of support that will encourage our Rangatahi to reach their full potential.
