The ocean connects us all. It shapes our climate, feeds our communities, and holds the stories of generations. Yet across the Pacific, marine ecosystems are under pressure, and many communities lack the resources needed to protect the places they rely on.

Blue Cradle Foundation was created to change that.

We work as a bridge for communities driving marine regeneration, bringing together local knowledge, science, and education so people can take action with confidence and clarity. From supporting Pacific partners to strengthen marine protection, to running immersive ocean literacy programmes in schools and public spaces, our mission is to advance equitable, effective ocean literacy and action across Aotearoa and the Pacific.

In the last five years, we’ve helped spark new collaborations, delivered hands-on learning experiences to thousands of students, and supported Indigenous-led marine initiatives that safeguard some of the most biodiverse waters on Earth.

But to continue this work — and to meet increasing demand from schools, communities, and Pacific partners — we need your support.
