The CSM has a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a home of its own. Your support to make this dream a reality is so appreciated.
Canterbury
For the first time in 67 years the Christchurch School of Music has been given the opportunity to build its own home. The City Council has offered CSM a block of land in the Performing Arts Precinct where we can build a place that will meet the needs of the School's 1200 students and will also be a community music hub. We have a lot of money to raise to make this dream a reality and we are very grateful for the support of our community.
For those of you donating in memory of Jane Doig - thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will be dedicating a room at the new centre to Jane to acknowledge her wonderful service, not just to the CSM but to music education in Christchurch. Rest in peace dear Jane

A totara has fallen in the forest of Tane.
The Christchurch School of Music is a not-for-profit organisation that has been providing excellent music tuition and ensemble experiences to Cantabrians for 67 years. We hear regularly from many of our past students about the impact their time at CSM has made on their lives, whether they have become a professional musician working in an international orchestra or whether they now have a passionate love of music as a listener or amateur performer. From people aged from 2-92 years old the CSM has a programme that can bring joy and satisfaction to people's lives.
