We do whatever it takes to support young men to remain on a pro-social pathway. Our young men spend three weeks with the army before coming to us for comprehensive therapeutic, cultural, educational and vocational training. We then place them in employment, education or training, and support them to stay there. We also provide family support

We have had enormous success with our young men and their families. The international literature tells us that any programme which attains a success rate of 30% non-offending rate is considered 'world-class'. The success rate for the formal incarceration system in NZ is 20%. Working with the army and other agencies, we consistently achieve 60%.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
