14 August 2014Once again the St James Theatre will ring with the sound of Christmas carols as Wellingtonians are invited to visit the festival and marvel at the array of professionally decorated trees; sponsored by New Zealand businesses. Bring your friends and family to herald the beginning of the Christmas season in the Capital. The Christmas Tree Festival raises money for the branch through businesses sponsoring a Christmas tree which they beautifully decorate to their heartfs content. The public then come in and view all the trees and can vote for their favourite one. The winning trees receive an amazing prize. If you know of any business that might be interested in sponsoring a tree please let Nicole know and an information pack can be posted to them. Sponsoring a tree is great publicity for your business and is a great team bonding event. We will need volunteers to man the Festival while it is open to the public and to assist with the set up and take down of the trees, if you are able to help please email Nicole: nicole@cfwellington.org.nz
