Day One Hāpai te Haeata

Day One Hāpai te Haeata

Day One is a supportive community which provides rangatahi filmmakers with the tools, guidance and platform to share stories on screen.

Avondale, Auckland

Day One is a project that has been running since 2007 to develop, uplift and amplify the voices of Aotearoa’s young people through film.

We have a range of programmes to empower young New Zealanders to explore their unique voices through filmmaking. We aim to encourage rangatahi to examine the world around them, tell their stories and share their perspectives of what they see, hear, and feel.

Day One is run by Connected Media Charitable Trust and is made possible through funding and donations.
