Introducing our latest cutest rescues to come in ...
The three Musketeers...
Athos (Arty), Porthos and Aramis.
These little guys are 4 months old, and currently have generalised demodectic mange, which they are being treated for now that they have started their journey with the DDB Club Rescue.
The vet has unfortunately found a grade 4 heart murmur within Porthos, so we are investigating options for him.
Please help us help these small guys, the vet fees could be significant, and any donation big or small helps a lot.
****We are receiving a lot of messages about the pups and there adoption.
The pups are going into foster homes until we have got there skin condition under control, socialised them and then they will be put up for adoption after that.****
Well will you look at this happy face.
Mr Biggs after a pamper session his foster mum took him on, I think we can safely say he enjoyed the experience.
Did you notice his rib bones are disappearing.
All donations are very welcome, and greatly appreciated
Sadly the Club has been alerted to another poor Dogue needing our help.
He has been on a chain for years with no shelter and when picked up his water was green and as you can see he is very very underweight and not in good shape.
Very sad to get to 7 years old and be left in this condition he should be curled up in front of the fire not freezing around the back of a shed.
So he is now in rescue and off to the vets for Mr Bigg's
Mr Biggs has been vet checked and other than being extremely under weight and malnourished he appears to be great so now we have to work on getting this dear boy into a loving forever home once he is back on track health wise
Bob when we picked him up in mid February 2016 was severely under weight at a mere 37 kgs (should be closer to 65kg), after a vet check the vet was happy with eyes and has started treating him for fleas and demodectic mange.
After three weeks in Foster care, he has gained some good weight, has fur growing back on his bald spots, and is starting to enjoy life.
By 6 weeks post rescue, Bob has been neutered and is playing and being happy dog, and is pretty much ready to find his forever home.
Around two months after being rescued Bob has joined his new family out on the farm, he hangs out with his new buddies the goats, alpacas and a canine buddy too and gets to go for drives to the market.
He is now living a happy relaxed life.
A very special thanks to all those who donated to help this lovely boy, and to his foster mum for the amazing work that she put in.
