Dewey Center Foundation

Dewey Center Foundation

We are are committed to serving New Zealand parents and children who have high standards of education and quality of life.

Auckland

Dr. John Dewey is credited as an educational reformer who has developed the philosophy of learning by doing and his approaches to education and learning have been influential for many generations.

We are adopting the educational philosophy of Dr. Dewey to cultivate students’ curiosity, stimulate children’s interest in learning and improve the learning efficiency through the development of online and offline, indoor and outdoor diversified courses and activities.

We hope that parents in New Zealand can benefit from the Dewey practical education theory and application that we promote, and accompany their children to live and grow up happily together.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
