Our Hawke’s Bay communities are in need and our women are facing significant challenges. Beginning with the onset of COVID-19 in 2020, job opportunities have dwindled, exacerbating existing wealth and social inequalities. The devastation caused by Cyclone Gabrielle in 2023 further compounded these difficulties, destroying homes and possessions and forcing many businesses to restructure or close their doors. This has led to even fewer employment opportunities, particularly impacting women in our community.

Dress for Success Hawke’s Bay provides resources, guidance and support to women – empowering them to gain employment and achieve economic independence. Our goal is to uplift as many women, within our community, as possible. But we can’t do it alone. Your support is crucial.
