Dunedin Christmas Charitable Trust

Providing free food, entertainment and company on Christmas Day.

Dunedin, Otago

We have one purpose - ensuring that everyone in Dunedin has a place to go for food, entertainment and company on Christmas Day.

To achieve this we run Dunedin Community Christmas Dinner - a free event everyeone is welcome to attend.

It’s hosted at Dunedin Town Hall and delivered for about 480 guests with support of 180 volunteers.

The Dinner has been running in its current form for over a decade and has a history going back much further.

It’s a high class affair with table service, table linen and excellent entertainment.

We do this because we think everyone deserves it.

But the Dinner isn’t just about entertainment and food - it’s about connection, giving, sharing and community. It's a team effort and we’d like you to help us make this year’s Dinner everything it can be.
