The Douglas Wilson Advocacy Scholarship Trust is calling on the legal community for donations so it can continue supporting the development of young lawyers.
For many years the Trust has given young practitioners the opportunity to participate in courses that provide litigation and other vital legal skills where they may not otherwise have the financial resources to do so. Further funding is needed to carry on this important work, and the Trust is seeking your financial support to enable it to continue to support young lawyers.
The Douglas Wilson Advocacy Scholarship Trust was established in 1986 to support the development of young lawyers. In 1991 the name was changed to honour the passing of a promising young lawyer Douglas Wilson for many years the Trust has given young practitioners the opportunity to participate in litigation and other specialist legal course, where they do not have the financial resources to do so.
