Epilepsy Foundation of New Zealand Incorporated aims to fulfill the following charitable purposes and objectives in New Zealand:

• Provide, promote and obtain support and help for the relief of the needs of people with epilepsy, their families/whanau and dependents.

• Promote a better understanding of epilepsy within the community.

• Promote and support research and investigation into all forms of epilepsy.

• Publish and distribute information in any form that promotes the objectives of the Foundation.

• Enlist support for the work of the Foundation from individuals, government, public and private organisations whose activities may be of benefit to people with epilepsy.

• Raise funds with the purpose of funding the objectives of the Foundation whether by donation, sponsorship, subscriptions, bequests, fundraising projects or otherwise.
