The Estuary Arts Centre is a community based art centre located in Orewa. It is governed by the Estuary Arts Charitable Trust (EACT).
The Estuary Arts Centre is situated in Orewa on the Western Reserve, alongside the Ara Tahuna walkway & cycleway. Under the terms of its Deed of Lease with the Auckland Council, EACT is contracted to provide specific outcomes including exhibitions, educational opportunities and activities for the local youth, disabled and other minority groups.
March 2015 is the start of the 'Education Wing and Gallery Upgrade' project. The new purpose-designed facility will provide multiple education experiences and the existing Gallery will be upgraded to blend the two buildings into one unified Centre.
The Board of Trustees are committed to seeking $150 000 for this worthwhile project, which will benefit so many in our community. Please help us reach this goal.
Mission Statement: “Estuary Arts Centre is a creative artistic hub belonging to and valued by the community. It aspires to enrich the lives of people of all ages and abilities, involving and engaging them in arts appreciation and creative opportunities and experiences”.
