UPDATE AUG 2026:

In response to the devastating floods in Nepal we are collecting funds to send direct to our onsite contacts to assist in relief efforts.

Funds will be used for safe drinking water, temporary shelter and other basic necessities, for those most impacted in this community and surroundings.

The heart of FACE Nepal's mission is transparency (through direct contact with our local team and clear accounting) and sustainability (by ensuring community support and inclusion on all projects and sponsorships).

FACE Nepal is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established by local community representatives and supported by former Nepal community volunteers. FACE Nepal was established in the wake of increasing social, educational, and environmental problems in the rural and urban areas, combined with a growing community frustration with inadequate resource distribution, project coordination and planning from existing aid and volunteer organizations.

COVID19 Update June 2021 - Funds were sent direct to the communities we partner with the support provided 94 families with food supplies to last 20 days.

Nepal Flood Emergency: Help Families Survive and Rebuild

On 26 August 2026, catastrophic flash floods tore through Nepal’s Rasuwa district and communities along the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers.

A massive collapse of rock and ice high in the Himalayas sent water, mud and debris into the valleys below. Entire settlements were overwhelmed. Homes, roads, bridges, businesses and essential public facilities were destroyed.

Families have lost everything now urgently need food, safe drinking water, shelter, warm clothing, medicines and basic supplies.

Your contribution will help provide:

• Emergency food and safe drinking water

• Temporary shelter, blankets, clothing

• Medicines and essential medical supplies

• Hygiene, sanitation materials

• Basic household necessities

Getting help directly to affected families

FACE Nepal is a grassroots community organisation with strong local relationships and a long history of working directly with Nepali communities.

Through our established network of women’s groups, youth volunteers and community members, and in coordination with the local authorities, we identify the families facing the greatest need and help get practical support to them as quickly as possible.
