We work to promote Fair Trade. Fair Trade tackles poverty by offering better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world. Through fair trade we aim to help improve the position of producers, giving them more control over their lives.
We engage with and support local fair trade network groups and our growing network of Fair Trade Communities: councils, universities, workplaces, faith groups and schools who have made a commitment to fair trade. For more information on the Fair Trade Association please visit www.fta.org.nz
