Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa

Aotearoa's leading experts in sexual and reproductive health. Everyone deserves access to expert care and advice — we provide it.

Nationwide

Providing affordable, confidential and non-judgemental services at over 30 clinics including contraceptive advice, STI checks and treatment, menopause advice, cervical screening, vasectomy, pregnancy testing and advice.

Running health promotion workshops on adolescent sexuality, healthy relationships, safer sex and producing educational resources for children, young people, parents and teachers.

We also provide specialised education in sexual and reproductive health for primary healthcare professionals.

Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa (formerly Family Planning) began in 1936 to help women choose the size of their families and the spacing of their children. Although our original focus was contraception, as the needs of New Zealanders have changed over generations, so have the services we offer and the issues with which we are involved.
