We create backpacks for children going into foster care during difficult circumstances. They are a symbol of our support and love.

We provide backpacks of essentials to children entering Foster Care in the Palmerston North/Masteron/Wellington Region. These packs include, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap/body wash, flannel, book, toy, (for babies and toddlers - nappies, baby wash and soap, wipes). These backpacks are purchased through fundraisers and also through donations from the community.
In three years the Wellington Branch of Foster Hope have provided over 1700 backpacks to children in the Wellington Region via CYFS, Open Home Foundation, Kokiri Marae, Challenge 2000.

These backpacks are purchased through fundraisers and also through donations from the community.

We just want to say a huge thank you for all the support we have received on this page. It has allowed us to fill gaps in our stock, and show our kids going into care that they have support from everyone in their community.
We have updated our new website to receive payments (www.fosterhope.org.nz), and so we will now close this page.
