Fox Glacier Emergency Services Charitable Trust

Highly trained and experienced volunteer team members provide ambulance, search and rescue services for the public in South Westland

West Coast

Fox Glacier is a remote village in the heart of South Westland New Zealand.

The Fox Glacier Emergency Services Charitable Trust exists to provide a home for our amazing small team of volunteer Emergency and Rescue workers. Over the 10 years, we have built a permanent home for the local St Ambulance, LandSAR Alpine Cliff Rescue teams and Civil Defence HQ.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
