Free Public Advocacy Service

Free Public Advocacy Service

Our Advocates support and stand up for others who may not otherwise be heard. We provide these services free to those who need our support.

Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty

Sometimes people are not able to advocate for themselves. This is where the Free Public Advisory Service can step in to support and guide you through the challenges you’re facing. This service was created to provide support for people in the Bay of Plenty who are struggling to access services they need to connect with, while providing guidance and advice.

We endeavour to meet you in a place near where you live so it’s not too difficult to get the support you need. Our trained Advocates will go along with you to appointments, attend mediation meetings, provide advice over the phone, and refer you on to other agencies.

All the information you give us is treated in the strictest confidence and only shared if you give us permission in order to achieve an outcome.

Donations enable us to provide help and support to those in need of assistance.

More about us

We are a community based organisation which helps people become aware of their rights, best interests, and ensure that these are recognised and protected.

We can help with small issues (completing a form) or bigger concerns (dealing with an organisation).
