Freedom Living Charitable Trust

Freedom Living currently provides Support, Funding Advice, Life Coaching, Budgeting Advice, IT Support and Advocacy for those living with Physical Disabilities.

We also realise that Technology is playing more and more of a key role in our everyday lives and we supply and provide ongoing free I.T Support to our members.

Freedom Living's Social Hub will have a point of difference from other charities, as all our services required for their needs can be accessed under one roof with services such as:

● Lessons on how to make easy healthy meals

● Rehabilitation area (gym), with specialised equipment run by trained therapist providing individual

programmes

● Shower and Laundry facilities

● Haircuts

● Wheelchair/mobility equipment maintenance/repair

● Social and Disability advocacy services

These are just a few of the services we will be offering at our Social Hub.

Loneliness, plus the difficulty of accessing the basic services can be a large challenge for many people living with disabilities; things that people take for granted everyday such as transportation can be both expensive and difficult to access when on a disability allowance and physically challenged. We want our clients to feel connected, have a sense of belonging in the community and to enable easy access to everything that we as a community enjoy every day.

To help with this barrier, Freedom Living will provide their clients with a free shuttle van to transport them from their home and back within the Wellington area. Freedom Living Charitable Trust's dream and goal is to make a real difference in people's lives, and as this is an expensive journey, we would love to have your support to make this happen for this community.
