Support the restoration of the 1905 Croft Organ at Kāhui St David's.
Grafton, Auckland
We invite you to consider making a donation to our Givealittle campaign which seeks to raise funding for the restoration of our stunning 1905 Croft pipe organ.
The organ was originally built in 1905 by George Croft, a local organ builder who's famous for his woodwork. The organ started it's life as a "divided organ". The arrangement was changed sometime during rebuildings in 1927 and 1974. Some of the original pipes have survived, including George's beautiful flute pipes, along with newer pipes that were added during rebuilding to reflect the fashion of that time.
This 119 year old organ has been neglected for many years, so there are a lot of essential maintenance work that need to be done to make sure it stays working and could last for many more years to come. Donations will support the restoration of the organ which currently relies on frequent running repairs! We are grateful for all level of donations.
