Gather Foundation

At Gather Foundation, we've seen firsthand how children's ideas can transform the spaces around them. In one of our recent projects, we worked with a local school to assist children to redesign part of their playground. What started as a simple conversation about places for small groups to gather and to challenge themselves, soon blossomed into a full-scale design.

What struck us most wasn't just the creativity of children's ideas, but the deep sense of ownership children experience. They weren't just getting a new play area, they were the designers, innovators and creators. Through this experience, the children gained confidence, developed problem-solving skills and learned how collaboration (and patience) brings their ideas to life.

Our projects give children the chance to shape the spaces they use every day in ways that reflect their experiences and needs. Whether it's transforming a school area or redesigning a park, every project we undertake allows children to influence their environment directly.
